County-wide Antibiogram

The antibiogram describes the prevalence of antibiotic resistance and its patterns. Northern Nevada Public Health prepares an annual county-wide antibiogram by partnership with the local hospitals and laboratories. The antibiogram provides the most complete picture of antibiotic resistance in the community and can be useful to help guide appropriate initial therapy for the outpatients and hospitalized patients.
